I strive to create unique, creative portraits of families and children. Photography isn’t just memories anymore, it’s personalised art. Whether your home is traditional or contemporary we have some amazing wall art that will enhance any room. I only use a handful of craft people to work with, each piece of wall art is lovingly taken by a member of my team and retouched at our studio, it then is printed at a professional laboratory before returning to Shrewsbury to be hand framed by craftspeople. Having a young family myself, it strikes me all to often how much the children change. I have worked with young children and families throughout my career and can tell you theres nothing more treasured in years gone by as that portrait hanging proudly on your wall.

ABOUT
Welcome to Shutter & Co. Photography, we are a family run studio based in the beautiful Staffordshire village of Brewood. Although the studio was only opened in 2017 I have been capturing award winning images of families, children, fashion models, men and women for over 20 years. My career started at Eileen Mason Photography in Rushall. Eileen whom is undoubtedly one of the most talented photographers of her generation, saw something in me all those years ago, she trained me from the creative amateur photographer I was, to what you see today. Along the way I have gained many qualifications from the British Institute of Professional Photographers, The Royal Society of professional Photographers and SWPP. I have entered (and won) many photography competitions, this is something I continue to do. Winning or loosing, either way I love to challenge myself and get feedback from other professionals. I want every photograph I take to be good enough to enter into a competition. I strive to create images that you won’t want to look away from. One of the biggest compliments is to see my work on your walls.

In my personal life my most important job is being a father to my three children Oliver, Isabelle and Emilia. Luckily they are happy to oblige while Daddy takes yet another photograph of them! My life is filled with photographs, and thats pleases my immensely ????

Thank you so much! The photos are beautiful I nearly cried when you played them on the big screen! Arjun has had many photo shoots and he always looks so uncomfortable and tends to get upset, But you made us all feel so comfortable and he actually enjoyed it! We came in today to choose which digital copies we wanted. We made a decision to get the 6 copies but they were all so beautiful we had to buy them all! I can't thank you enough! It was well worth the price!

We had an incredible cake smash photo session for my sons 1st birthday at Shutter and Co. The studios are so stylish, the staff were welcoming, the studio was very professional, the photographer was patient, and the photos captured the joy of the moment so perfectly they made me cry with happiness when we viewed them. The best photography business! I have been here for multiple shoots and they never disappoint. First shoot was for my daughter where she had photos taken in a secret garden setting and they came out beautiful, second one was for a boudoir shoot for myself and these came out flawless, third was for a maternity shoot which involved me and my daughter and we’ve just had photos taken of our new born son and the way they handled our newborn with such care and how they settled him, I was amazed! The team here make you feel so welcome and you can have a down to earth conversation with them all and you feel like you’ve known them forever! I cannot wait to see how these photos turn out! 1 million percent recommend!

I Cannot recommend this studio enough we booked a pet shoot and from the moment we walked in for the shoot we were looked after very well and they made our dog feel very at ease and the star of the show (which he is!) When we returned for the viewing a week later we were blown away with the photos that it was so hard to choose just the one that came with the shoot so naturally we had them all Thankyou to all the staff for there warm welcome both times we came to the studio

WOW! Blown away by the professionalism and quality of the beautiful Enchanted Forest photoshoot they did for my two little ones. They adored the experience and their little faces lit up when they saw the fairies on their photos in the viewing. The set was amazing with lots of props for the children to interact with and the photographer and her assistant were incredible at engaging with them - our two giggled non-stop while we watched comfortably on the sofa behind, having a cup of tea. A truly magical shot in time, that we will treasure forever, thank you!
