Commissions

We apply a 10% commission fee, paid by the creative. This revenue supports various services, including advertising your listings to widen your reach, thus relieving you of the need to invest in promotional efforts. Importantly, our earnings are contingent upon successfully securing bookings on your behalf. Additionally, we provide insurance coverage for any potential damage to your creative equipment while on-site.

Important Notes

• As a creative professional utilising our platform, it’s imperative to adhere to our policies to maintain a harmonious relationship with our services and customers. In the event of an inquiry initiated through our site, it’s important to conduct all transactions within the platform. Attempts to redirect customers off-platform may result in the assessment of advertising costs, and repeated violations may lead to removal from our platform without prior notice.
• Your primary responsibility as a creative is to fulfill customer requests promptly and satisfactorily. Failure to deliver the agreed-upon service will result in non-payment, with funds potentially refunded to the customer or reallocated to engage another professional to fulfill the service.
• We are simply a booking platform/marketplace. we do not take responsibility for the creatives work, we are just the middle man to connect the creatives with customers.
• It’s essential to clarify that our platform operates as a booking intermediary and marketplace, connecting creatives with potential clients. While we facilitate these connections, we do not assume responsibility for the quality or outcome of the creative work. Our insurance coverage extends solely to the equipment utilized by creatives during service provision, such as cameras, lenses, and tripods.
• In the event that a customer cancels on the creative, the customer will have to pay a 10% cancellation fee to Memorease, (this is of the overall booking price and will be taken from the amount paid at time of booking) on top of the individual creatives cancellation fee stated on their contract with you upon booking. This policy is in place because we allocate resources to acquire customers before bookings are finalised.
• Customers should be aware that our cancellation policy and contractual terms vary between individual creatives. Therefore, it’s incumbent upon them to inquire about these specifics at the time of booking.
• If a creative cancels on a customer, the funds will either be utilised to engage another creative for the service or refunded to the customer. The creative will be charged a 10% cancellation fee on the overall booking price.
• To validate insurance claims, bookings must be made through our platform, and evidence of any damage incurred must be provided, along with the customer’s confirmation of the incident.
• Funds paid by customers are held securely until the completion of the service and subsequent confirmation by the customer. In the case of an event such as a wedding, 50% is released to the creative prior to the event. The final 50% is rewarded to the creative upon delivery of the media to the customer.
• Should a customer express dissatisfaction with the service provided by a creative, initial attempts should be made to resolve the matter directly. However, if resolution proves elusive, our platform will intervene to assess the validity of the grievance. In instances where a refund is deemed appropriate, it will be processed accordingly.
• While we strive to provide a seamless experience for both creatives and customers, it’s essential to recognise that our platform serves as a facilitator rather than an employer of creatives. Customers are encouraged to make informed decisions based on creative listings, reviews, and our review system.
• Instances of repeated negative feedback from a customer to a creative, may prompt a review of a creative’s standing on our platform, with potential removal if warranted after mediation and investigation.
• As a creative, by accepting these terms you agree, in any case that you cancel on a customer, that you refund Memorease the initial 50% payout in full and Memorease will refund the customer. Failure to do so will result in legal action being taken, and you will be enforced by law to refund Memorease in full from the 50% payout received. And pay any subsequent legal fees.
